YMCA FLAG FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING REGISTRATION OPENS SOON
Port Royal, SC (June 7, 2012)- Football and cheering season is quickly approaching at the Wardle Family YMCA. Registration begins July 2nd and ends Aug. 13th, but hurry in because spots fill quickly for these popular sports.
Season dates are August 21 – October 15th for both boys and girls. Flag football participants must be ages 5-10 and cheerleaders must be ages 4-9 to participate.
YMCA cheerleaders will cheer at YMCA flag football games and will learn plenty of new cheers and chants throughout the season.
The cost is $40 for Y members and $55 for non-members with a mandatory $55 cheering uniform fee for all first time YMCA cheerleaders.
Uniform sizing is necessary for all cheerleading participants and will take place on August 14th at 6pm- immediately following program registration. All children involved in the program must attend in order to ensure proper fitting, unless the.
